Do I need a referral to see a Physiotherapist?
No, you do not need a referral to see a Physiotherapist. However, if your doctor or specialist has written you a referral, please forward it through to us prior to your consultation.

What to wear to my appointment?
Please wear or bring appropriate clothing to expose the area requiring treatment.
For Clinical Pilates sessions you must wear grippy socks for safety and hygiene. These can be purchased in the studio. Please bring water & a towel.

What do I bring to my Initial appointment at Base?
Please email us any relevant scans or reports prior to your Initial Consultation.
If you have a medicare referral, please email this to us prior to your consult and bring your medicare card on the day. If you have private health insurance, please bring your physical or digital card.

Is there parking available?
Base Physiotherapy & Pilates is located in Drummoyne on level 1 of the Odeon building. We are lucky to have a 62 space carpark available with free parking. There is also free parking on surrounding streets.

What is your no show / cancellation policy?
We have a strict 24 hour cancellation policy for Physiotherapy appointments and semi-private Clinical Pilates classes.
In the event of a late cancellation or no show, you will be invoiced the full treatment fee.

Do you see DVA/WorkCover/NDIS patients?
Due to our current capacity constraints, we are unable to accept patients with DVA, NDIS, Work Cover or CTP insurance claims.

Can I bring my baby or pet?
You are more than welcome to bring your baby or kid to your Physiotherapy consultation.
Due to safety reasons, please do babies/kids to semi-private clinical pilates classes.
We have a strict no animal policy.

Do you take medicare enhanced primary care plans?
Yes, we do. Medicare's Enhanced Primary Care program allows general practitioners to refer patients for Physiotherapy, as part of a comprehensive care plan each calendar year.
As we are a private clinic, you are required to pay our full fee at the time of your consultation and you will receive a rebate of $60.35.
Please email us your EPC prior to your initial session to ensure you receive your rebate on the same day.
